1. Summary

App Store Preview Studio is a native macOS application. We built it with privacy in mind:

  • Your videos, audio, and images never leave your Mac. All processing happens locally.
  • We do not have servers that store your content.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share any personal data.
  • We do not use third-party advertising or tracking.

2. Who We Are

App Store Preview Studio is developed and distributed by FOP "Dmytro Shaniuk", a sole proprietorship registered in Ukraine ("we", "us"). Contact: info@accbox.info.

3. Content You Process (Videos, Audio, Images)

The videos, audio files, and images you import into the App ("Your Content") are processed entirely on your device. We do not upload, copy, or transmit Your Content to our servers or to any third party.

Temporary files created during editing and export are stored on your local disk and managed by macOS. You can delete them at any time through Finder or the App's own cleanup tools.

4. Information We Do Collect

To operate the App and support you, we may collect limited information:

  • License / activation data: if you purchase the App, we receive your email address and a license key through our payment processor in order to activate and verify your license.
  • Update checks: the App may contact our update server to check for new versions. These requests include your current App version, macOS version, and IP address (as part of any HTTPS request).
  • Optional crash reports: if enabled, the App may send anonymous crash reports containing a stack trace, App version, and macOS version. Crash reports never contain Your Content.
  • Support messages: if you contact us through the support form, by email, or through any other channel, we receive the name, email address, and message content that you send.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect to:

  • Activate and verify your App license.
  • Deliver updates and security fixes.
  • Diagnose crashes and improve stability (only if you opt in).
  • Respond to your support requests.
  • Comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, fraud prevention).

6. Service Providers

We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the App:

  • Paddle — payment processing and license issuance. Paddle acts as the merchant of record and handles your payment details. See Paddle's privacy policy.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (license keys, support replies). See Resend's privacy policy.
  • Apple — macOS platform services (app distribution, code signing, notarization).

7. Data Retention

We keep license and payment records for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting laws (typically 6 years). Support messages are retained for as long as needed to resolve your issue and for reasonable reference afterward. You can request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data.
  • Request a portable copy of your data.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

Because Your Content stays on your device, the main security boundary is your own Mac. We use HTTPS for all network communication the App makes, and we follow reasonable industry practices to protect the limited personal data we do hold.

11. International Transfers

We are based in Ukraine. Our service providers may be located in the European Union, the United States, or other countries. When personal data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced within the App or on our website. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when this policy was last revised.
